报告摘要:In this talk, we consider the nonlinear wave equation in inhomogeneous media, which is modeled by the variable coefficient wave equation. By taking the periodic solutions as a breakthrough, we study the dynamical complexity of its solutions and find the essentially different dynamical behaviors for the spatially inhomogeneous wave equation.
报告人简介:冀书关,东北师范大学教授、博士生导师,国家杰出青年科学基金获得者,现任数学与统计学院院长。主要从事微分方程与动力系统研究,于《Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.》、《SIAM J. Appl. Math.》、《Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations》和《J. Differential Equations》等学术刊物发表论文50余篇,主持国家自然科学基金、教育部博士点基金和国家重点研发计划课题等项目10余项,获得全国百篇优秀博士学位论文提名奖、吉林省科技进步一等奖和吉林省青年科技奖等多项奖励和荣誉。
